bre's channel is a great resource for all things zines-- she has a bunch of videos on how to get started, shares a lot of great tips, and also just makes incredible zines and art in general. she's awesome! check her out!
a free pdf editing software-- i use this primarily to convert PDF scans of my zines to PNG format to use on my site, but you can do a ton of other stuff with it too
